In
order to download programs from the Chooser, you must first select

click on it. |
 |
In the upper right corner,
click on the AppleShare icon and then in the box below,
select the AppleTalk zone Computing Center. In the box
to the right, a list will appear. Depending on what you want
, select the words Application or Mathematics and click
OK.

 |
Now,
select Guest and then click on Connect. |
 |
The
Applications item is highlighted, so hit OK. (Do
NOT put a check mark in the small box next to the Applications
item! This will cause the computer to try to connect to Applications
every time the computer is turned on!) The Applications icon
will then appear on your desktop. |
 |
Click
on the Applications icon to open it and choose the file(s) you
wish to Download. Drag the files to the desktop or to
your hard drive. A progress bar will appear while the files are
copying. (*NOTE* Some programs need to be installed or have files
placed in the System folder. Look in the program's folder for
instructions.) |
 |
When
you have finished downloading the desired files, you can place
the Applications icon in the Trash bin. |
