Dial- up accounts are available for faculty and staff only. Faculty and staff should contact Cal Coursey to set up a dial-in account and password. Staff must have a need to work from home to qualify for a dial-in account.

Students who live off campus and want internet access in their apartment will need to sign up with a local Internet Service Provider. If you live on campus, internet access and cable TV are included in your fees. When you move off campus you need to arrange for your own internet and cable TV if you want them.

Here is some information to help you select an ISP. In making your decision, ask how many modems they have and at what speeds (faster is better). Modem speeds should be 56Kbps. You might want to consider a regional ISP that has local numbers in your hometown (for Christmas and summer access). All the providers listed below have local access numbers for Chestertown. You might ask if you can get a discount or that setup fees be waived because as a WC student you will be using WC e-mail, not the ISP's. Let us know if you have an especially good or bad experience with any of these ISPs. Once online with a provider such as one listed below, WC students can access their regular Blitz mail accounts at Washington College.
